The government appointed Prof Abdullah Al Faruque as vice chancellor of RMSTU for four years on March 23.
In a letter sent to the ministry concerned on March 29, Dr Abdullah expressed his inability to take the new responsibility of RMSTU, relevant sources confirmed the information.
