“We are going through a challenging situation as the defeated fascist forces are spending lakhs of money to destabilise the country. So, grant bail with the utmost caution,” he said while addressing a programme at Rajarbagh Police Line in Dhaka on Tuesday.
“There is no room for you (judges) to relax,” he said while addressing a workshop on human rights, environmental concerns, and law enforcement in the country’s changing political landscape in Dhaka’s Rajarbagh on Tuesday.
Claiming that police officers are working relentlessly to capture criminals involved in the July genocide cases, he, pointing finger at the judges, said, “It is the law, it is not something I have made up. There is no room for complacency in this regard.”
