DNCC demolishes Jubo League office to clear footpaths

Shawdesh Desk: The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has started an eviction drive against illegal occupation of footpaths in the capital.
The onslaught led by DNCC’s Executive Magistrate Sajed Anwar began at Uttara’s Sonargaon Avenue around 10:00 am on Sunday.
Structures built occupying walkways were demolished on the first day of the initiative.
The mobile court also tore down the temporary offices of the Jubo League and Swecchasebak League erected over a walkway.
