Dense fog disrupts ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route

Shawdesh Desk: Dense fog disrupted smooth ferry operations on the key Patutia-Daulatdia route on early Saturday.
The authorities suspended ferry services several times between 3am and 7am due to poor visibility, said Assistant General Manager (AGM) Zillur Rahman of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority.
Several hundred vehicles remained stranded on both sides.
The ferry service resumed around 7am after visibility improved, the official said.
