In the 24-hour span, 1,034 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, raising the total caseload to 76,026 in 2025.

Among the fatalities – four women and one man – three were reported in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), and one each in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and Mymensingh division, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Of the latest cases, 134 were admitted to hospitals in Barishal division, 103 in Chattogram division, 188 in Dhaka division, 200 under DNCC, 171 under DSCC, 55 in Khulna division, 66 in Mymensingh division, 79 in Rajshahi division, 33 in Rangpur division, and five in Sylhet division.

Currently, 3,331 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals across the country.

Dengue killed 575 people in 2024, with 1,01,214 cases recorded. The previous year saw the country’s worst outbreak on record, with 1,705 deaths and 3,21,179 hospitalisations.
