Country achieves highest GDP growth in Asia in FY 2020-21

Bangladesh has achieved real Gross Domestic Products (GDP) growth of 5.2 percent — highest in Asia.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal revealed this information while presenting the budget for 2021-2022 fiscal year on Thursday afternoon.
“In spite of the pandemic, the government of Bangladesh, led by the able leadership of the honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has been able to maintain the macroeconomic stability of the economy with prudent fiscal policy and accommodative monetary policy,” he said.
