Bus set on fire in Gazipur amid BNP’s hartal

Unruly people set a bus on fire at Jirani bazar in Gazipur city on Thursday morning during the daylong hartal called by BNP.
Asaduzzaman, assistant commissioner of Gazipur police, said that some unruly people intercepted a Dhaka-bound bus on Kaliakoir-Nabinagar road at about 9:30am and set it on fire.
No casualty was reported. There were a few passengers on the bus.
No one was arrested as the attackers managed to flee the scene.
