BUET student Abrar’s second janaza held

The second namaz-e-janaza of Abrar Fahad, a student Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), who was beaten to death allegedly by the university unit BCL activists early Monday, has been held at Al-Hera Jam-e-Masjid in Kushtia.

The funeral prayer was held at around 6:00am with the presence of a huge numbers of people.

Earlier, an ambulance carrying the body of Abrar reached at his house on Bir Muktijoddha Asad road in the town at 5:00am.

Following the janaza, his body was taken to his village home at Raidanga village on Koya union under Kumarkhali upazila of the district.

Later, he will be buried at his family graveyard after holding his third namaz-e- janaza there.

Abrar Fahad, a 2nd year student of electrical and electronics engineering department of the university was allegedly beaten to death allegedly by BCL activists early Monday.
