Shawdesh desk: BNP leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi allegedly came under attack in Karwan Bazar area in the capital while campaigning for his party nominated mayoral candidate for Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Tabith Awal on Thursday.

According to a media report, BNP senior joint secretary general Rizvi and some other party leaders came under an attack while they were carrying out mass contact on the last day of the Dhaka city poll election campaign in that area this afternoon.

However, it was not confirmed yet who carried out the attack on their campaign.
Rizvi was admitted to Islami Bank Central Hospital in the city’s Kakrail area with injuries on his hands and legs.

Several other BNP supporters were also injured during the attack,
