Bangladeshi youth shot to death ‘by BSF’ along Brahmanbaria border

A 32-year-old Bangladeshi national was shot dead allegedly by the members of Indian Border Security Force along Putia border in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Al Amin, 32, son of Sultan Mia of village Putia.
Samiul Islam, Kasba Upazila Nirbahi Officer said that the BSF members opened fire on him around at about 7:00pm, leaving him injured.
Later, the BSF members took him to an Indian hospital where he died from his injuries at about 9:00pm, he said.
A flag meeting will be held between BSF and Border Guard Bangladesh on Saturday.
