Bangladesh to export 50,000 tons of urea fertiliser to Nepal

Bangladesh will export 50,000 tons of urea fertiliser in order to provide assistance to Nepal government.

Considering the necessity of people of Nepal, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given instruction to extend cooperation in this regard, said Industries Ministry.

A bilateral agreement was signed between Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) of Industries Ministry of Bangladesh and Krishi Samagri Company Limited (KSCL) of Nepal on Thursday.

 

BCIC Chairman Amin Ul Ahsan and KSCL Managing Director Netra Bahadur signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Relevant officials of both countries were present during the signing ceremony.
