The Bangladesh government on Saturday strongly condemned the act of burning Quran by a far-right activist in Copenhagen on Friday.
A foreign ministry press release said that Bangladesh yet again expresses grave concern over such heinous act of insulting the sacred values and religious symbols of the Muslims all over the world.
Bangladesh urges all concerned to refrain from such unwarranted provocations and Islamophobia for the sake of harmony and peaceful coexistence.
