Bangladesh confirms 47 more Covid-19 deaths, 2436 new cases

Bangladesh reported 47 more deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours till 8:00am on Sunday, taking the tally to 13,118.
Besides, 2,436 people have newly been infected with the virus in the same period. The total number of Covid-19 cases stood at 826,922.
The positivity rate dropped to 12.99 percent from Saturday’s 14.12 percent, said a handout of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The infection rate came out after testing 18,749 samples in over 500 labs across the country.
