Arrest warrant issued against Sheikh Hasina, Imran H Sarker

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Wednesday issued arrest warrants for nine individuals, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in connection with the alleged mass killing at Shapla Chattar on 5 May 2013.
The other accused in the case are former Home Minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir, former spokesperson Imran H Sarker of Gonojagoron Mancha, former Inspector General of Police Benazir Ahmed, and Hasan Mahmud Khondkar.
Of the accused, Ziaul Ahsan, Tuku, and four others are currently in custody, while the rest remain fugitives.
