ACC sues Titas official over acquiring illegal wealth

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed a case against Motijheel Branch manager of Titas Gas Md Mohidur Rahman for acquiring wealth worth Tk 3,4 71,000 illegally.
Assistant director of the ACC Ataur Rahman Sarkar filed the case with the commission’s integrated district office on Sunday.
According to the case statement, Mohidur submitted wealth statement to ACC mentioning that he has movable and immobile wealth worth Tk 8,234,845.
However, the ACC has found the illegal assets of the officer beyond known sources of income.
