ACC launches probe against ex-BSMRSTU VC Nasir

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has opened an investigation into the allegations of embezzlement and acquisition of illegal wealth against former vice chancellor of Gopalganj’s Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University Khondoker Nasiruddin.
ACC’s director Sheikh Md Fanafillah has been assigned to investigate the allegations, an ACC top official.
According to the allegations, Nasiruddin is facing allegations of corruption and abuse of power.
He resigned from his post as vice chancellor of the university on Sept 30 amid raging student protests on the campus.
