Popular Indian rapper Badshah and Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi have announced the end of their marriage (divorce), just five months after tying the knot.
The couple addressed speculation surrounding their relationship on Sunday, sharing identical statements on their respective Instagram Stories and confirming that they had decided to go their separate ways.
In a joint statement issued on Monday, Badshah and Isha said the decision to part ways was mutual and requested everyone to respect their privacy as they begin a new chapter separately.
“We have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time,” they said.
The couple also urged people not to engage in further speculation or make assumptions about their relationship.
“This will be our only statement on the matter. We sincerely request that there be no further speculation or assumptions regarding our relationship,” they added.
