Much-anticipated film “Soldier”, starring Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan, continues to generate excitement as production moves into its final phase. Adding to the buzz, actor ABM Sumon has joined the cast in a special role.

Currently in Thailand for the film’s final shooting schedule, Sumon is taking part in several key scenes alongside Shakib Khan. Although his role is not extensive, sources close to the production say his character will play a significant part in a crucial turning point of the story.

Director Shakib Fahad said Sumon’s inclusion was driven by the demands of the script. “The character may be brief, but it carries importance and will offer a special surprise for the audience,” he said.

ABM Sumon, however, remained tight-lipped about the details of his role. “There is not much I can reveal about the character right now,” he said. “I am happy to be a part of Soldier, and I believe audiences will enjoy the surprises the film has in store.”

Over the past week, the production team has been filming important sequences at various locations across Thailand. Alongside Shakib Khan, actresses Tanjin Tisha and Jannatul Ferdous Oishee have also been participating in the shoot. The team is expected to return to Bangladesh soon after wrapping up filming.

“Soldier” revolves around the struggle of an ordinary man against corruption and powerful vested interests. The film has already attracted significant attention, particularly after the release of Shakib Khan’s striking new look. The cast also includes veteran actors Tariq Anam Khan and Tauquir Ahmed, among others.

Industry insiders believe that ABM Sumon’s special appearance has further heightened audience interest in what is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about Bangladeshi films in recent times.
