The minister for education and primary and mass education ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon on Sunday said that decision on operation of educational institutions amid the ongoing fuel crisis will be taken in the next Cabinet Division meeting to be held on Thursday.
He told journalists at Bangladesh Secretariat that before the cabinet meeting they would discuss with the stakeholders on the actions for operating the educational institutions.
‘Then in the next cabinet meeting decision will be taken and the decision will be announced at a press conference after the meeting,’ he added.
Earlier the minister in the past week said that they were planning to hold classes in blended approach — both online and offline.
However, in the last cabinet meeting held on April 2 no decision was taken for the educational institutions.
Decisions were taken on new timing of offices and shopping malls and other shops which came into in effect on Sunday.
