The web series “Paap Kahini”, which premiered on an OTT platform last year and received a positive response from viewers, is returning with its second season. In January this year, actor-producer Shahriar Nazim Joy announced the new installment of the series.

The shooting for the upcoming season is currently underway. Actress Ashna Habib Bhabna will appear in the series as the wife of a superstar.

Confirming the news, Bhabna said, “My character is that of a superstar’s wife who is addicted to extramarital affairs. I completed shooting my part a few days ago and really enjoyed working on the project.”

When asked whether the story is inspired by the life of any real-life star, Bhabna said that director Joy could answer the question better.

Meanwhile, Bhabna has also worked on a new web series directed by Suman Dhar, whose title has not yet been finalised. About 15 percent of the shooting remains.

The second season of “Paap Kahini” also features Runa Khan and Kusum Sikder. The series is scheduled to be released on the OTT platform iScreen during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
