Known for his emotionally nuanced storytelling, Showkhin continues to enjoy strong audience popularity. His recent dramas Meghbalika and Mon Duari received wide acclaim, particularly during Eid seasons.
Speaking about the new project, Showkhin said, “I regularly read Sadat Hossain’s work. After reading Billboard, the concept for Priyo Projapoti came to mind. Though it draws inspiration from the original, it’s a different story presented in a modern tone.”
The drama features Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Tasnia Farin in lead roles. The plot centres around two office employees and their evolving relationship, set partly in their daily commute and workplace. Apurba plays Mugdha, a habitual latecomer whose routine is challenged by Projapoti (Farin), a newly hired colleague meant to discipline him.
