Army, police vehicles torched during RMG workers’ protest in Mirpur

Two vehicles of the Bangladesh Army and police were set on fire during a protest of readymade garment workers at Mirpur-14 on Thursday morning.

Confirming the matter, Vasantek police station officer-in-charge Faisal Ahmed said that the incident took place at about 9:00am.

 

‘Now, we are working to bring the situation under control and disperse the protesters,’ the OC added.

The OC could not share any other details about the incident immediately.
