Police to seek remand for Palak, Tuku and Saikat

Police are set to produce former deputy speaker Shamsul Haque Tuku, former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak and Dhaka University Chhatra League general secretary Tanvir Hasan Saikat before the court, seeking a remand order.
They will be produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Thursday evening, according to an official of the detective branch of police.
Earlier on August 14, police arrested them from the Nikunja residential area of the capital in a murder case filed with Paltan police station.
