Two children drown in Sylhet, Magura

In separate incidents, two children drowned in Sylhet and Magura districts on Monday.
In Sylhet, an eight-year-old girl met her watery burial at Kharubil village in Jaintapur upazila in the afternoon.
The deceased was Karima Begum, daughter of Jamat Miah of the village.
Locals said Karim fell into a pond around 4:30pm. Her floating body was found in the pond in the evening.
In Magura, two-year-old toddler Tasim Hossain, son of Hridoy Hossain of Kashinathpur village in Sadar upazila, fell into a ditch around 4:00pm while playing by the house.
Locals spotted his floating body in the water body in the evening.
