Judge of Metropolitan Magistrate court-2 Shankar Kumar passed the order after police placed him before the court wiht 10-day remand prayer on Monday.
Earlier on Wednesday, Rapid Action Battalion arrested Abbas from the Hotel Razmoni Ishakha in Dhaka’s Kakrail on Wednesday in a case filed under the Digital Security Act in the case.
On November 26, the Rajshahi unit of Awami League suspended Abbas Ali from the party post.
