A bank official died from breathing difficulties at a hospital in the port city on Sunday night.
The deceased wad identified as Gias Uddin, 48, manager of Bank Asia Cox’s Bazar baranc, son of Ohab Uddin.
He breathed his last at around 11:30pm at the hospital.
Borhan Uddin Chowdhury Murad, younger brother of the deceased, confirmed the news.
