A tribal man was killed in a reported gunfight with petrol team of law enforcing agency in Sahosabanda area at remote Bandukbanga union of Sadar upazila in Rangamati on Wednesday morning.
The identity of the deceased could not be known yet.
Zahidul Haque Roni, officer-in-charge (OC) of Rangamati Kotwali Police Station, confirmed the matter.
