Shawdesh Desk: At least 50 shops were gutted in a fire that broke out at a market under Ukhiya upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
The fire incident took place at Maricha Patabari Bazar of Haldia Palong Union on Tuesday midnight.
Being informed, the firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after two hours of frantic effort.
The estimated loss would be to the tune of several crores taka.
