Custom officials seized 96 gold bars, weighing 11 kilograms, at Shah Amanat International Airport in the capital on Sunday.
The gold worth around Tk 8.00 crore seized while those were illegally imported with garment accessories from China.
Assistant Revenue Officer of Customs Shafiqul Islam confirmed the matter.
