403 students died by suicide in 2025, says Aachol Foundation

At least 403 students committed suicide across the country in 2025, revealed a report published by the Aachol Foundation on Saturday.
Among the students, 249, or 61.8 per cent, were female, the report also showed.
The foundation in an online discussion also said that among these students the highest, 190, were school students, followed by 92 college, 77 university and 44 madrassah students.
The report was prepared by collecting information from different national and local daily newspapers from January to December 2025.
In 2024, at least 310 students at the school, college, madrassah and university level committed suicide.
