Tawsif Mahbub and Naznin Nahar Niha, two of the busiest faces on the small screen, have teamed up for an Eid special drama titled “Prematal.”
The story of the drama revolves around love and the agony of endless waiting. At the heart of the narrative is a man who goes missing, leaving his mother and newly married wife in uncertainty, not knowing whether he is alive or dead.
Written as a poignant tale of love and cruel anticipation, “Prematal” highlights the emotional struggles of those left behind. Tawsif and Niha portray the two central characters in the drama, which has recently wrapped up shooting.
The drama has been directed by Hasib Hossain Rakhi, while cinematography was handled by Suman Hossain.
Speaking about the project, Rakhi said the story explores a mother’s wait for her son alongside a wife’s longing for her husband. “There is deep love, pride, drama, and emotional intensity both within and beyond that waiting,” he added.
Producer SK Shahed Ali Pappu said that such strong story-driven scripts are rare nowadays. He expressed hope that “Prematal” will stand out as one of the most significant productions under the banner this Eid.
The drama is set to premiere on CMV’s YouTube channel during the Eid festival.
