Jatiya Party MP Saad Ershad takes oath

Newly-elected Jatiya Party MP Saad Ershad, son of late JP Chairman HM Ershad, from Rangpur-3 constituency took oath on Thursday.
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath at 12:00 pm at her office in the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, sources at the Parliament Secretariat confirmed it.
Jatiya Party’s (JP) Saad Ershad was elected in the Rangpur 3 by-polls held on October 5.
Saad Ershad bagged 58,878 votes while his nearest rival BNP-nominated Rita Rahman bagged 16,947 votes.
