Bangladesh waives fuel oil rationing

Bangladesh government on Sunday waived the fuel oil rationing that had been in effect for more than a week.
From now on, consumers will be allowed to buy fuel oil without any limitation, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Sunday.
On March 6, the government introduced fuel oil rationing in the wake of the war in the Gulf region, home to nearly half of the global energy output.
