BNP’s Election Steering Committee Spokesperson Dr Mahdi Amin has said that BNP will take organisational action against the rebel candidates if they remain in election race even after discussions.

He made the comments at a press conference on Wednesday held at the BNP election office on Road No. 90 in Gulshan.

He also said BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman will begin the party’s election campaign on Thursday starting from Sylhet. He also announced the detailed schedule of Tarique Rahman’s visit to Sylhet.

In response to a question, Mahdi Amin said, “After the Sylhet visit, there is a plan for BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman to visit Chattogram. However, the details will be announced after he returns from Sylhet.”
