Rashed Khan, the party’s general secretary, made the demand while speaking to reporters at the Election Commission Secretariat on Wednesday.

He said the election must be free and fair, warning that democracy would be undermined if the commission failed to ensure credible polls.

Khan also urged the EC to resolve the issue of his party’s registration without delay.
