BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu has said it is natural for advisers of the interim government to think about a safe exit, but the party has not discussed the matter with anyone.
He made the remarks on Saturday afternoon after paying tribute to BNP founder and late president Ziaur Rahman at his mausoleum, accompanied by leaders and activists of the Mymensingh metropolitan unit of the Tanti Dal.
Dudu said the party must remain united until a democratic government is formed through a general election, as conspirators are still active both at home and abroad.
He also expressed hope that political parties would reach a consensus on the issues of the National Consensus Commission by signing the July Charter.
