Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus has designated a burial site at Uttara Sector-12 City Corporation graveyard, near Milestone School and College, for the victims of Monday’s aircraft crash.

This graveyard will be preserved to commemorate their memories, Abul Kalam Azad Mazumder, deputy press secretary to the chief adviser, told the BSS on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the catastrophic crash has risen to 31, while 165 individuals, including students of the educational institution, are now undergoing treatment at different hospitals in Dhaka.

Earlier on Monday, the plane took off from BAF Base Bir Uttom AK Khandker at 1:06 pm and crashed shortly after due to a technical glitch, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
