Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has detained an Indian Border Security Force (BSF) jawan for illegally crossing into Bangladesh through the Biral border in Dinajpur.
Shariful Islam, public relations officer at BGB headquarters, confirmed the matter on Tuesday.
He said the jawan, Upal Kumar Das, was apprehended by BGB members near the Biral border around 11:00 am.
Further actions regarding the matter are underway, he added.
