Bangladesh foreign affairs adviser Md Touhid Hossain has met with Indian external affairs minister S Jaishankar and discussed issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was held on Monday focusing on bilateral ties.
‘Had a meeting with foreign affairs adviser Md Touhid Hossain of Bangladesh in New York this (Monday) evening. The conversation focused on our bilateral ties,’ Jaishankar wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter after the meeting.
The foreign adviser is accompanying chief adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the 79th UN General Assembly.
