Bangladesh Nationalist Party central executive committee member and former lawmaker Nadim Mostafa died on Sunday.
Nadim Mostafa, former president of Rajshahi district BNP, breathed his last at about 12:10pm while undergoing treatment at United Hospital in the capital, said Golam Mostafa Mamun, a member of Rajshahi district BNP.
He said that Nadim fell sick at home in the morning and was taken to the United Hospital where he passed away.
Nadim was elected as a lawmaker twice from Rajshah-4 constituency in the seventh and eighth national election in 1996 and 2001.
