BNP chairperson Khaleda set to return home from hospital

The main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia, who has been undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka for over five months, is set to return to her Gulshan home Thursday evening.
Confirming the matter, Khaleda’s personal physician AZM Zahid Hossain told reporters that that 78-year-old former prime minister would leave the hospital at about 4:00pm.
She was admitted to the hospital when she fell sick on August 9.
She has been undergoing treatment there since then for various health complications including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, and kidney, lung, heart and eye related diseases.
