EC gets proposal for transfer of 110 UNOs

Shawdesh desk: The Public Administration Ministry has sent a proposal to the Election Commission (EC) for the transfer of 110 upazila nirbahi officers (UNOs) for holding the next general election in a free, fair and acceptable manner.
EC’s additional secretary Ashok Kumar Debnath said the commission got the proposal but it is yet to be approved, BSS reports.
Earlier, the EC approved a proposal to transfer 47 UNOs in eight divisions in first phase.
The voting of the 12th parliamentary elections will be held on January 7.
