Plaque with Khaleda’s name dismantled at JnU

Shawdesh Desk: A group of students of Jagannath University on Monday night dismantled the plaque of the Jagannath University embossed with the name of former prime minister Khaleda Zia.
Witnesses said that a group of students, known as activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League, ruling Awami League-backed student organisatiosn, dismantled the plaque in front of the university’s administration building at about 10:00pm.
While removing the plaque, the students also said that the plaque should not be embossed with the name of Khaleda Zia as the Sheikh Hasina-led government conducted most of the development of the university.
