An unidentified child was killed being hit by a rod that fell from Mohakhali Flyover in Dhaka on Monday.
Witnesses said that the child, aged around 12, was hit by the rod that fell from the flyover at about 10:30am.
Pedestrians rescued him and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment at about 12:45pm.
DMCH police outpost in-charge Bachchu Miah said that body was kept at the hospital morgue for post-mortem examinations.
