Heralding advent of spring, Pahela Falgun is being celebrated in Dhaka and all other parts of the country amid festivities in a colorful manner today.
Young girls and boys are joining various functions wearing dazzling dresses.
Falgun is the 11th month in the Bengali calendar and first month of the Spring which is called the king of all the six seasons in Bangladesh.
Ending dryness of winter, new leaves regenerate again and nature bejewels branches with new colorful flowers Shimul, Polash and Marigold.
