Bangladesh extends age limit for govt jobs by 39 months

The government has decided to increase the maximum age limit to enter government jobs by 39 months, from current limit of 30 years, due to prolonged academic life caused by Covid-19 pandemic.
A notice was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration (MoPA) in this regard on Thursday.
The applicants who have reached or exceeded the age of 30 from 25 March, 2020, to 30 June, 2023, will be eligible to benefit from this waiver, the notice said.
That does not, however, apply to jobs under the BCS, the notice added.
