Mitu Murder: PBI submits charge sheet against seven including Babul Akhter

Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has submitted the charge sheet against seven people, including the former SP Babul Akhter, over Mahmuda Khanam Mitu murder case filed by the victim’s father.
The six other accused in the case are—Quamrul Islam Shikdar Musa, Ehtashamul Haque alias Haniful Haque alias Bholaia Md Motaleb Mia Wasim, Anwar Hossain, Khairul Islam Kalu and Shahjahan Mia.
On June 5, 2016, Mitu was stabbed and shot dead when she was on the way to her son’s school-bus stop at GEC intersection in Chattogram city.
