17 die of Covid-19 in MMCH in 24 hours

At least seventeen people died while undergoing treatment at the Covid-19 unit of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) in the last 24 hours.
Among the dead, six people died from coronavirus infections while eleven died with Covid-19 like symptoms.
The MMCH’s corona unit spokesman Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon confirmed the matter.
As many as 416 Covid-19 patients are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, he said.
In the past 24 hours, some 61 people have been admitted to the hospital with Covid-19 symptoms, he added.
Beside, District Civil Surgeon’s Office sources said some 816 out of 263 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
