Awami League (AL) leader and lawmaker from Dhaka-14 (Mirpur) Aslamul Haque has passed away while undergoing treatment at Square Hospital in the capital.
The 59-year old politician breathed his last around 12:00pm on Sunday.
Dhaka City North AL organizing secretary Azizul Haque Rana confirmed the matter to media.
