Road crash kills two musicians in Chattogram

Two renowned musicians were killed when a lorry hit their microbus at Sonapahar area in Mishorai upazila of Chattogram on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as percussionists Hanif Ahammed and Partha Guha.
Firoz Hossain, in-charge of Jorarganj Highway Police Outpost, said that the lorry hit the microbus on which they were riding to go to Cox’s Bazar to attend a show at approximately 5 am, leaving Partha dead on the spot and Hanif injured.
Hanif was taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead, he said.
In the accident, artistes Beauty Khan, Nandan, Pappu and Tawhid were also critically injured.
